The modernization at Garfield Elementary School includes interior modifications of the library for a new STEAM lab, plus improvement to HVAC, plumbing systems, new lunch shelter, lighting, electrical systems, and doors finishes. In addition, there were multiple classroom improvements, a kindergarten addition, furniture upgrades, and an office reconfiguration with a single point of entry to bring a new level of safety to the campus.
